F o r a c c o u n t a n t s, s o l i c i t o r s & C F O s
Your client stays yours. Their numbers get better.
When a client outgrows their bookkeeping, I help them build an internal finance function, or fix the one they have. You keep the tax, compliance and advisory work. You get cleaner records, fewer queries and a smoother year-end.

How I can help
Each service has its own page with the full detail your client will see.
Your finance function
A growing business with unreliable records, no in-house finance capability, or a bookkeeping set-up that would benefit from an independent review.

Directors’ meetings
New and growing businesses introducing formal directors’ meetings for the first time, with the right information prepared for each director.
When a business is left in a client’s hands
A widow or widower now responsible for a business they had little involvement in, facing decisions they don’t yet feel equipped to make..
A trusted point of contact
A client with more involved affairs who would benefit from one organised person coordinating everyone ahead of the tax return.
Why accountants introduce their clients to me
Better records at your door
A client with a working finance function sends you reconciled, well-organised information. That means fewer queries, faster turnaround and a year-end your team doesn't dread.
You keep the work that matters
I never offer tax, audit, statutory accounts or regulated advice. The routine processing moves in-house; the higher-value relationship stays with you.
For work you can't easily take on
Building a client's internal team is hands-on and time-consuming, and independence rules can limit what an auditor can do. I'm a safe pair of hands for that gap.
When to think of me
These are the moments accountants most often spot first.
Year-end is always late or messy
Directors can't get timely, reliable numbers
Preparing for investment, a lender or a sale
Rapid growth in staff, sites or transactions
They have outgrown their external bookkeeper
A charity facing tighter governance and reporting
An existing finance team that isn't working well
A key finance person leaving with the knowledge

Questions accountants ask
Will you take over my client's accounts or tax?
No. I don't provide tax, audit, statutory accounts or regulated advice, and I won't. Your client remains your client.
Will I lose fee income?
Some routine processing may move in-house. In return, you work with a well-run client whose records are ready when you need them, and your time goes on the work that's worth the most to your practice.
Will I be kept informed?
Yes, with your client's permission. I work alongside you, never around you, and everything is handled with discretion.
How is the work priced?
Every engagement is different, so fees are agreed once I understand what your client needs. Where appropriate, I begin with an assessment of the business or its records to establish the scope of work and the time involved. Your client receives a clear proposal before any work begins.
