So the right
questions get asked
and the right
decisions get made.
I work alongside business owners, charities and families to bring order to the numbers, structure to the decisions, and a calm, capable presence to the room, whether that room is a board meeting, an accountant's office or a solicitor's table.
An overview for professional advisers
Much of my work takes place alongside accountants, solicitors and tax advisers, often at sensitive moments in a client's business or personal life. This page sets out how I work and where I can be useful, so you can judge when an introduction might serve your client well.
I work alongside you, never around you. My role is to help your client understand the information in front of them, ask the right questions and reach sound decisions - which, more often than not, makes your work easier rather than harder. Everything is handled with discretion.
- A little about me
Where the numbers meet the people
I've spent more than twenty years advising business owners and a decade building, growing and ultimately selling my own company, GroForth, which grew turnover by a third year on year. Having sat in the owner's chair as well as the adviser's, I understand both the figures on the page and the person carrying the weight of them.
Today I bring three disciplines together - accounting, business-building and executive coaching. It's why clients often want me in the room when a decision is difficult, personal, or simply too important to get wrong: to keep things calm, neutral, and moving toward the right answer for right now.
I also serve as a non-executive director of Gheel Autism Services, a Dublin autism charity, so the board discipline and governance I help others build, I practise myself.
