Welcome to
The Next Chapter
Book Club

A monthly gathering for business owners, coaches, and curious minds who love to learn through books.
This is a space for thoughtful conversation, professional growth, and shared learning. Each month, we read a book focused on business, coaching, or personal development. At the start of the following month, we meet online to discuss insights, takeaways, and how we’re applying what we’ve learned.
How It Works
- Books Chosen Quarterly: We select books 3 months in advance so you can plan ahead.
- Monthly Online Meetups: Join us at the start of each month for a live discussion.
- Global-Friendly Scheduling: Meeting times vary to accommodate different time zones.
- Free to Join: Registration is required, but there’s no cost to participate.
Who It’s For
This club is ideal for:
- Business owners and entrepreneurs
- Executive and leadership coaches
- Professionals passionate about growth and learning
What to Expect in a Session
Each virtual book club session runs for 60–90 minutes and follows a simple, structured flow:
- Welcome & Check-In (10 minutes) – Quick introductions and a chance to share what drew you to the book.
- Main Discussion (40–60 minutes) – Guided conversation using a blend of core questions and book-specific prompts.
- Action & Application (10–15 minutes) – Each person identifies one insight or action they’ll apply in their business or coaching practice.
- Wrap-Up (5 minutes) – Key takeaways, next month’s book, and closing reflections.
You’re encouraged to join with your camera on, if possible, to help create a warm and engaging space.
Group Size & Format
To keep conversations meaningful, each session is limited to 4–8 participants.
This is a live, interactive discussion rather than a webinar, you’ll be invited to share your reflections, listen to others’ experiences, and explore how the ideas land in real-world business and coaching contexts.
How We Structure the Discussion
Before each session, you’ll receive 6–8 guiding questions to help you reflect as you read.
We use a mix of:
- Standard questions – to anchor every book in your business and coaching practice.
- Book-specific questions – tailored to the themes and ideas of that month’s book.
Sharing the questions in advance gives you time to think and ensures that everyone – including quieter voices – has space to contribute.
If you want to be extra clear, you can add 2–3 standard questions:
Some of our standard questions include:
- What was your biggest takeaway from this book?
- Which idea challenged your thinking the most?
- How does this book relate to your current business or leadership challenges?
After the Session
After each meeting, you’ll receive a short written summary of the key insights, questions, and themes that emerged in the conversation, plus any shared action steps the group committed to.
This means you can stay accountable to what you’ve learned, and those who can’t attend live can still benefit from the discussion.
Our Reading Themes
Across the year, our book choices focus on five core themes:
- Leadership & Coaching – becoming a more confident, effective leader and coach.
- Business Strategy & Growth – building sustainable, scalable businesses.
- Productivity & Habits – working smarter, not harder.
- Emotional Intelligence & People Skills – communicating, collaborating, and leading with impact.
- Coaching & Leadership Development – deepening self-awareness and expanding your toolkit as a leader.
Books are chosen quarterly so you can plan ahead, with a mix of classics and fresh voices.
